Ahhhh! oh BOY!

Yep. I did just put boy in all capitals! It's true! I'm now the proud owner of three crowing chickens. Yes I did know I had two roosters... well technically one rooster, one cock... but still. So I'd heard heard two crows at the same time a couple of times. And I knew one was our little cock, Bryce... but the other was a mystery... well yesterday I FINALLY figured it out!!! Yes our "pullet" silver crested polish chicken DOES crow! So I haven't figured out if it's a HE or a SHE! But I do know that in some cases a dominant hen will crow...  although it's kind of funny because she's not that dominant and we've got two other roosters! But her crow only has two syllables out of the usual three... yeah you might have to say that out loud to understand it... just say a deep "er" sound to the tune of the stereotype "cock-a-doodle-doo!"
