A use for those Clementine crates!

There's not very many ways to reuse those pesky crates clementines, but here's one of the few!

A coupon holder! This could also be  for mail, newspaper, bills, magazines, etc. This IS a kid-friendly craft, but beware of splinters!

Materials I used:
  • 1 Clementine crate
  • Paint- I used some leftover paint from my room and then just some basic acryllics
  • 1 Disposable foam brush- Mainly for the big areas, but any brush would probably work fine
  • 3 small paint brushes- I used one for each color since I was too lazy to wash inbetween colors
  • Scissors
  • Magazine letters- I think I used maybe 3 different magazines for the letters
  • Tacky glue- Decoupage probably would have been a better idea though
I simply painted the carton and then started cutting and pasting the letters of 'coupons' onto the four sides.

I plan on using this as a Christmas gift for my parents.
Here's some pictures: Sorry about the letters being backwards... blame the webcam!
