.... Not allowed?
Yes, that zebra striped thing on my wrist in the horrible picture above is a duct tape bracelet... and apparently they are not allowed at my school any more! There was no official out ruling of them... it was just one day, which happened to be today, a bunch of kids including me were told to take them off. We had a fire drill and when we were walking inside the vice principal, who was holding the door, and called my name, I turned around and he pointed to my bracelet and told me to take it off! Huh? Me being a bad girl... didn't do it. I talked to my friend who happens to have one with the same print about this. She said she was told to take it off too, but didn't do it either! I asked some 6th graders on my cheer team and they said they were asked by a different teacher to do this.I do realize that in the what's it called ummm list of rules.... ugh mind blank... the way you dress, that kind of stuff, maybe I'll remember later... anyway it states that no excessive jewelry may be worn... does this look excessive? When I hear that I'm thinking maybe 10+ big bangles on your wrist... not a duct tape bracelet!
Is it right for you be told to remove something or get something taken away that you (or anyone else for that matter) were never told it was against the rules?
