Squirrel attack?

Yes, that does say squirrel attack. No I didn't really get attacked by a squirrel...
Okay so I have a huge scratch going down chin and my neck as you can see below:

Anyway, it's obviously pretty noticeable. Well I was really surprised at people's reactions! I wore my hair down to school the other day and whenever I'd push it over my shoulder, someone would notice the huge scratch. Their reactions were pretty funny! They were varied from huge gasps to bug eyes! I decided to have a little fun with the matter... i.e. squirrel attack! It was hilarious what how people's reactions changed from 'whoa!' to 'HOLY CRAP, SQUIRREL ATTACK!' No, it wasn't really a squirrel attack... my dog just scratched me. But anyway, people these days are pretty gullible!
